We has a busy, but fun, Easter. Friday we went to Grandpa Jeff's and had an egg hunt and dinner. We all had a really good time.

Saturday, we colored eggs.

Sunday, the kids woke up to a picture scavenger hunt (I had taken a bunch of photos of different items and hid the corresponding photos in order until the last one led to their baskets), we had a egg hunt in the back yard.

Ate Easter bunny pancakes.

We went to church, and then went to Grandma Julie's for an egg hunt and dinner. Fun, yet busy. The kids baskets were new church bags for each of them.
They had the new church photo art bound book, a coloring/sticker book, crayons and markers, pipe cleaners (the kids love to play with them and it keeps them quiet), and snacks. There was also candy and their Easter clothes.

We had a wonderful day and we talked a lot about the reason we have Easter.

It is impossible to get all of the kids looking at the camera at the same time.

The best of the bunch.

  1. I love the idea of having a scavenger hunt for Easter baskets, especially with older kids to make it a little more challenging for them.

  2. A picture scavenger hunt...how fun! I too tried to take pictures of my three so I totally understand what you mean!! Your kids are so adorable!
