Bailee is 11 shout hurray!

I can not believe that my baby is 11.

How old does that make me!? She is getting to the age that she didn't want any toys. All she asked for was a Twilight bracelet, shoes, cute hats, and No Doubt concert tickets. She got all she asked for...spoiled brat :)

On her birthday we had her cousins over for her favorite dinner (enchalatas), her favorite cake (white cake with chocolate/cream cheese frosting), and her favorite icecream (birthday cake). She wants to have a sleepover with some friends for her party, but, we do not have a weekend that is open...as of yet.

Meanest Mom in the WORLD!!!

I made Guy a breakfast consisting of sliced grapes, bananas, and pears.

When I put it in front of him, he freaked out!

He threw a fit for about an hour.

As I said, meanest mom in the world!

Kindergarten registration

Today I registered Sailor for kindergarten. She is so ready!!!

This was our conversation after leaving the school.

Sailor- "Mom, do I have school tomorrow?"
Me- "Yes, you have preschool"
Sailor- "I thought I was in Kindergarten now"
Me- "Kindergarten will start after the Summer is over"
Sailor- "Is it Summer?"
Me- "No, it is still Spring"
Sailor- "Is Summer next week?"
Me- "No, It is in a few months"
Sailor- "So, I start Kindergarten next week?"
Sad. She wants to be a big like her sisters so bad.
I am just savoring the days I still have with her.

Easter

We has a busy, but fun, Easter. Friday we went to Grandpa Jeff's and had an egg hunt and dinner. We all had a really good time.

Saturday, we colored eggs.

Sunday, the kids woke up to a picture scavenger hunt (I had taken a bunch of photos of different items and hid the corresponding photos in order until the last one led to their baskets), we had a egg hunt in the back yard.

Ate Easter bunny pancakes.

We went to church, and then went to Grandma Julie's for an egg hunt and dinner. Fun, yet busy. The kids baskets were new church bags for each of them.
They had the new church photo art bound book, a coloring/sticker book, crayons and markers, pipe cleaners (the kids love to play with them and it keeps them quiet), and snacks. There was also candy and their Easter clothes.

We had a wonderful day and we talked a lot about the reason we have Easter.

Guy

It is impossible to get all of the kids looking at the camera at the same time.

IMPOSSIBLE!

The best of the bunch.

Picky eater?

We had smoked salmon, broccoli, and mac and cheese for dinner on Saturday, it was SO yummy! Guy loved the mac and cheese (he had 2 servings), he loved the salmon, but the broccoli was another story. While licking (literally) the salmon off of his plate, he would push the broccoli to the top, then lick the salmon.

He did this over and over, getting a bit frustrated that the broccoli wouldn't stay out of his way. So, he put his plate down and started hiding the broccoli under the side of his plate.

Now I will know where to look when he gets older and has magically eaten all of the dreaded broccoli.

Bruiser

Guy lost a fight with a rock and a picnic table.

We went to a BBQ at a friends house on Friday and he tripped on the mean rock and hit his face on the table.

He does look tough though :)
